Starting Later

Sometimes a design firm will start using DesignSmart, then weeks, months or even years later purchase the QuickBooks Connector. That is fine, but it does require that the following considerations:

 

1.All of the invoices and purchase orders created before the QuickBooks Connector "Go Live" date will need to be flagged so they do not get sent to QuickBooks.

2.Active Projects and Clients will need to be "linked" to the corresponding jobs and customers in QuickBooks.

3.When a purchase order is pushed to QuickBooks, the user will see a message that states something like "The vendor on this purchase order appears to already exist in QuickBooks. Do you want to link them?"and the user will need to say yes. Once this is done one time, it will not be repeated.
