QuickBooks Software installation
Your Project Manager will help you install the QuickBooks Connector software because the process involves three or four steps.
Note you must have QuickBooks and FileMaker Pro installed on your computer before installing the QuickBooks Connector.
Linking QuickBooks Connector to QuickBooks
After installing the QuickBooks Connector on the first computer, it is necessary to log in to QuickBooks as the Administrator and open the appropriate QuickBooks file.
Once the Administrator approves that QuickBooks Connector, then the other users who have QuickBooks Connector licenses can log in with their credentials to repeat this process.
Working with a QuickBooks Backup File
We strongly recommend that during initial setup and training, a QuickBooks backup file be used rather than the firm’s live file.
