Once you go live with DesignSmart, we recommend that all new vendors be entered into DesignSmart and pushed to QBO.
But things happen and sometimes you'll discover that you have entered a vendor in QBO and also in DesignSmart. When this happens it will be necessary to "link" the vendor in QBO to the client in DesignSmart. Here is how you do it.
Step 1 In DesignSmart, go to Address Book Detail view for the vendor you want to link
Step 2 Confirm that the contact has been set with a Relationship of Vendor, and there is not a green QB icon in the contact field.
Step 3 Click the Link to QBooks client or vendor button
Step 4 It is usually best to not enter anything in the QuickBooks Name box and simply click the OK button
Step 5 Click on the box to the left of the desired vendor then click the Link selected contact button
