Price Changes

During the course of a project there are myriad reasons why costs  might change from the proposal amounts. In the screen shot below, the unit cost for the lamp was $315 at the time the proposal was created. However, at the time the PO was created the cost had dropped to $295. In the Purchase Order column the unit cost of $295 is shown with a red background to highlight the fact that the cost differs from the proposal cost.

If the Proposal Pricing Unit Cost differs from the Product cost, then the Proposal Unit Cost will be highlighted in red.

If the Invoice Pricing Unit Cost differs from the Proposal Pricing Unit Cost, then the Invoice Pricing Unit Cost will be highlighted in red.

In general, there is not a problem when costs are highlighted in red. The highlight is only intended to bring attention to the difference.
