Server Requirements

Remote Desktop Access
We will require remote desktop access to the server in order to perform the weekly updates and perform routine updates to the FileMaker server software.
We can provide two static IP addresses if you want to restrict access to these ports.
FileMaker Software Installation and Maintenance
We will install the FileMaker server software and update it as required.
SSL Certificate
We will provide the SSL certificate for this server.
Windows Server Updates
The client, or their IT support staff, will be responsible for window server updates and general maintenance of the server.
Off site backups
The client, or their IT support staff, will be responsible for indicating where the DesignSmart backups should be saved, and also be responsible for off-site backups.

Port Openings
The following ports will need to be opened and forwarded on your internet router as required.
| Port 443 | If users are to access DesignSmart from a browser from outside the office. |
| Port 5003 | We request this port opening so we can provide technical support. Also it allows users to connect to DesignSmart via FileMaker Pro. |
| Port 16000 | To allow The Smart Designer support staff to access the server console panel from a browser. |
