To speed up the distribution process, you can copy the distribution from one item to another. This can often be faster than using the Select from list method.
For example, let's assume that the guest room chair below is going to go in the same rooms as was the case for the side table which was Item #4. To replicate that distribution, follow the following steps.
Step 1 From the Distribution tab, click the Add Rooms button
Step 2 Enter the quantity to go in each room for this item in the Quantity field
Step 3 In the Add rooms by: field select the Copy from item option
Step 4 Enter the item number that has the distribution you want to replicate for this distribution
Step 5 Click the Save button
Below is the distribution for the chair that has the same distribution as the side table.
Important
Only the room distribution is replicated from the selected item, not the quantities associated with each room. We hope to add the ability to copy their quantities in a future release.
