To add a component to a primary item follow these steps:
Step 1. On the Item List View (see image on the left below) click on the primary item, then click on the New Component button.
Or from the Item Detail View (see image on the right below) click on the New Component button.
Note: you need to be on the primary item or one of the primary item's components when you click on the New Component button.
