On Site Hosting

We recommend that design firms with 10 or more users, or firms that use a desktop version of QuickBooks,   consider hosting DesignSmart on their own servers that are located inside their offices. The reason being that because the DesignSmart data will reside a few feet from your computer rather than 1,000 miles away, the system is faster and more responsive.

Onsite Hosting Costs

There are additional costs involved when hosting DesignSmart on your own server:

1.There is the cost of the hardware that is required to host the system

2.There is a one time cost from DesignSmart that covers the cost of of setting up the DesignSmart sever software on your server

3.There is a nominal monthly fee for the daily backups and managing the server
