When entering quantities with the SmartHospitality module, you have two "Quantity Methods" to select from:
| Manual | If you know how many of the item will be required, then select the Manual radio button and enter the known quantity in the Quantity field. |
| For example, if you are specifying a sofa for the Lobby, then you would probably know how many sofas will be required, and you would enter "Lobby" in the Area field and then select the Manual method. |
| Distribution | If you don't know how many of the item will be required, the select the Distribution radio button and fill in the distribution for this item. |
| For example, if you are specifying a king headboard, you would enter "Guest Rooms" in the Area field, then select the Distribution method. |
Important
You can manually enter a quantity that is different from the calculated distribution quantity. In the example below, based on the distribution for this item it was determined that 318 side tables would be required for this project. However, the designer overrode the calculated quantity by entering 320 in the quantity field. This might be done as she knows the owner will require additional side table for replacements.
