Inventory Locations

The DIS has up to three level of inventory location.

Entry and Basic Level Inventory Systems have one level of inventory location tracking. For example, you can setup Store Room 1 and Store Room 2 in DIS. The DIS system can then track what items you have in Store Room 1 and Store Room 2, but it can't tell you where those items are in those areas.

Advanced Inventory has three levels of inventory. For example, you could have Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2 as your primary level. In Warehouse 1 you could have Racks 1 - 100. The racks would be your secondary level. Then on Rack1 you could have Bins 1 - 50. The bins would be your tertiary level. These three levels combined mean that DIS will know what items are in, for example,  Warehouse 1, Rack 33, Bin 21.
