Even with the latest and greatest software and hardware, generating specifications can still occasionally fail because of images and/or PDFs. For that reason we strongly recommend that designers generate ALL specifications every day starting five days prior to the date of issuance. Even if the specification details are not complete, it is still advisable to generate ALL specifications daily in advance. This will allow you time to find out if there is an issue creating the entire PDF specification document and get support from your Project Manager to get it resolved. Then on the day of issuance there is less of a possibility of a technical glitch causing you to miss a deadline.
