Option 2 - Credit Card Only

•This is when a client pays the invoice with their credit card.

•They do not have the option to pay with their bank account.

•This method has the following advantages:

i.Your client does not have to decide how they will pay.

ii.Your client will enjoy earning their credit card perks.

•This method has the following disadvantages:

i.You might want to add a "Credit Card Processing Fee" subcharge to cover the processing fee.

oThis credit card fee can be "rolled into" the price of the item. For example, if your selling price for an item would normally be $1,000.00, then with the credit card fee added it would be priced at $1,030.00

i.If you add a "Credit Card Processing Fee",  it will raise the price of the items you are providing by the amount of the credit card processing fee.

Alternative Consideration

•Increase your standard markup 3% to cover the credit card processing fee and not bother with the Credit Card Processing Fee subcharge. This would make the overall pricing in DesignSmart easier to deal with since there would be fewer numbers.
